I am a Cancer Dancer

I am healing effortlessly shimmying towards utmost health in my dance with cancer.

I sidle past military terms of ‘battle’, ‘fight’, ‘survivor’ or ‘scary’ – it was simply gliding twirls, as part of the human experience.

Having removed all traces of cancer via conventional protocols such as lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation, I was lucky to experience minimal side-effects via non-conventional protocols (see postscript on my explorations).  I am now no longer subjecting my body to conventional toxic treatments, and for this, I am eternally grateful, back and better. Yay!

Today marks the one-year anniversary of when my mysterious breast dimple fortuitously revealed that I had breast cancer. Had I been taking better care of myself, it probably would have been managed after I was alerted in a routine mammogram in 2016.  Here are some hi-lights and reflections of the last twelve months of my life.

*  The most endearing:  to appreciate the love from those of whom I had taken for granted.

*  The most carefree: to let go and appreciate the present, with trust knowing everything will work out.

*  The most inspiring:  to meet fellow dancers on the daily adventure of infusing high doses of vitamin c.

*  The most shocking:  to learn the stage-1 cancer had spread to my lymph nodes.

*  The most fleeting of feelings: the grief of losing my waist-length hair.

*  The most bad-ass: to get a head tattoo:  a Lotus for integrity/ compassion and a Prism for clarity/ courage.

*  The most fun: photoshoots of my hair and body changes – currently campaigning for the lead role of the next Bond film.

*  The most comedic: my breasts, again, become centre stage after I breast-fed for 14-years of my four children.

*  The most languishing:  online 'first-time reactions’ to Dimash songs and 5th aquarium with teenage son.

What serendipity to experience being alive in such new ways…. to wear edgy hats and feel like an egg.

I continue on the journey of life, lightly curtseying to cancer.  I am blessed.

Thank you for being part of this dance.

Many blessings and love from Singapore.

April

PS.

Non-conventional cancer risk reduction:  Mushroom/wild yunzhi, high-potency Vitamin C IV (70 grams plus), celery juice, structured water, EM blocking, coffee enemas, acupuncture, healthy food, family-of-origin energy work, neuro-feedback, TCM, exercise, yoga, ocean paddling etc.

* You exist in a place of absolute well-being.  Be the evidence of it, to give others reason to believe that all can be well. *
